Any affected person has the right to request that a county recorder or clerk of the court add information to a publicly available internet website if the information involves the identity of a respondent against whom a final judgement for an injunction for the protection of a minor under s. 741.30, s. 784.046, or s. 784.0485, F.S. is entered, unless the respondent is a minor. Any person has the right to request that a county recorder remove, from a publicly available internet website, information made exempt from inspection or copying under s.119.071, F.S., or an image or copy of a public record, including an official record, if that image or copy is of a military discharge; death certificate, or a Rules of Juvenile Procedure, or the Florida Probate Rules. However, grantor, grantee or party names may not be removed from the Official Records index unless the grantor, grantee or party name includes the street address, such as in a Trust or LLC. Requests must be notarized, state the statutory basis for removal, and confirm the individual’s eligibility for the exemption. When a property goes into foreclosure, a civil lawsuit is filed and a Lis Pendens is recorded. To find out if a specific property is in the foreclosure process, you can search by selecting On-line services, Civil Cases and fill in the owner’s name. If you do not know the owner’s name, you can cross reference this information with the property appraiser by visiting their website at www.scpafl.org and search using the property address.

Upcoming foreclosure sales may also be found on our Court Events page listed under On-line Services. Select a day on the calendar month that you are interested in, select Civil and then select foreclosure sales docket. If you click on any given case number, you will be taken to the case information page. From here you will be able to view case docket and documents by selecting dockets.

Beginning October 1, 2002, any person preparing or filing a document for recording in the Official Records Books of Seminole County may not include a social security number in such document, unless required by law. Please note: it is the current practice of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Seminole County to redact the following information from images made available through the Clerk’s website:
- Social Security numbers
- Bank account numbers
The above information should already be unavailable at www.seminoleclerk.org.
However, any affected party has the right to request any Clerk of the Court in Florida to remove social security numbers from images or copies of official records made available to the public on that Clerk’s internet website.
Pursuant to Florida Statutes 28.2221(5)(a), the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Seminole County does not, as a matter of policy, and will not place an image or copy of the following documents on a publicly available Internet website for general public display:
- Military discharges
- Death certificates
- Court files, records or papers relating to Family Law, Juvenile Law or Probate Law cases
Images related to these cases are NOT available on the clerk’s website.
However, any affected party has the right to request any Clerk of the Court in Florida to remove such images or copies placed prior to June 5, 2002 on that Clerk’s Internet website for general public display.

You can access these websites from your phone, your home computer, our dedicated Support Payment computer in our public viewing room at the Criminal Justice Center, or any computer at either branch location.
Please note:
- Payment submitted for a child support payoff may be made with cash and/or cashier’s check only. Title Company and Attorney Trust Account checks are also accepted.
- Payment submitted in response to a notice of intent to initiate a driver’s license suspension due to child support delinquency, may be made with cash and/or cashier’s check only.
- For either situation, payment can be made at the Seminole County Criminal Justice Center, 101 Eslinger Way, Sanford, Florida or payment by cashier’s check may be mailed to the Clerk of the Circuit Court, PO Box 8099, Sanford, FL 32772.
- For either situation, payments made with a cashier’s check will require a 14-day hold.
- At this time, these payments cannot be made online. Other payment options are currently being reviewed.
